The Billings Dance Company focuses on an accelerated advanced technique and performance level in all aspects of dance. In order to be considered for the Dance Company a student must be dancing and performing at a very advanced level. The student must also be taking Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and a second ballet class is highly recommended. Members of the Dance Company are required to perform in the Spring Topaz Competition and the yearly Spring Recital. There also may be opportunities at various demonstrations for the “Kids in the Arts” scholarship program. Members of the Billings Dance Company may also participate in the Pro-Kids performing group, but it is not required. The selection process for the Dance Company is by invitation only.
