The Pro-Kids Performing Groups

Who are the Pro-Kids?

The Pro-Kids are Billings Dance Center’s performing groups. We currently have two groups; the Pro-Kids Movers and the Pro-Kids Groovers. These fun performing groups are called the “Pro-Kids” because they are students who have proven themselves to be hard working and “pro”-fessional, and because the goal of these groups is to support kids who have the desire to work hard and excel in the areas of dance and performance, or in other words, the groups are “pro” or “for” kids!

Where do the Pro-Kids perform?

Our Pro-Kids have performed in Disneyland, at many local fairs and events (The Oregon Zoo’s Zoolights festival), and have competed at the national level in Las Vegas where they won first place grand champion for their spectacular Hip Hop number. The Pro-Kids also attend dance conventions both locally and in other parts of the United States.

Who Can Become a Pro-Kid?

To become a Pro-Kid you must be at least 8 years old and be an intermediate or advanced dancer. An audition is required. If you are accepted and become a Pro-Kid, you must take Musical Theatre, Jazz, and at least two other classes in addition to the Pro-Kids class, which is held weekly.
